Does Veyra transmit my email contents or AI prompts to any remote server?

Absolutely not. Veyra operates under a sovereign, zero-telemetry architecture. All email indexing, Apple Intelligence foundation models, summaries, and spam classifications are computed entirely on your Mac’s local hardware. No prompt, email body, or metadata is ever forwarded to external cloud LLMs.

How does Smart Spam Control work without cloud reputation lookups?

Veyra analyzes incoming mail across multi-vector local signals: Unicode Cyrillic/Greek homoglyph spoofing (lookalike letters in domain names), RFC 2369 header integrity, financial urgency phishing patterns, SPF/DKIM/DMARC alignment, and your personal SQLCipher-encrypted allowlist and blocklist. This yields precision filtering without leaking your contact network.

Which email services and accounts are supported?

Veyra seamlessly connects to Google Gmail (via secure OAuth 2.0 PKCE loopback authorization or App Passwords), Microsoft 365 & Outlook (via Microsoft Graph and Entra ID), iCloud Mail, Fastmail, ProtonMail Bridge, and any standard IMAP/SMTP corporate or self-hosted mail server. It also includes an offline Sample Mailbox mode for instant evaluation without logging in.

What are the system requirements for Veyra Mail?

Veyra requires macOS 14.0 Sonoma or macOS 15.0 Sequoia (or later). It is compiled as a Universal 2 binary with native hardware acceleration for Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) as well as modern Intel Core-based Macs.

How does Pre-Provider E2EE work if my recipient is not on Veyra?

When sending via Veyra Secure, messages are encrypted with ChaCha20-Poly1305. Recipients on Veyra decrypt seamlessly using X25519 key agreements. For recipients outside of Veyra, the app provides a secure zero-knowledge passphrase escrow and one-time web-decrypt link that preserves end-to-end privacy from Google and Microsoft servers.
