Why Apple asks
iPhone and Mac show a system prompt the first time BODI Elite uses a protected capability. You can deny any prompt and still use the rest of BODI.
Camera
Photograph meals, nutrition labels, BODI products, barcodes, and front/side body photos. On LiDAR devices, Elite Body Scan uses the depth camera to check distance and pose — not body fat.
Photos
Upload meal, label, body, and progress photos from your library for Elite scans. Photos stay on this device.
Apple Health
Read authorized wellness data to personalize rings, hydration, and training context. Write workouts you complete in the app if you allow it.
Microphone & speech
Live View listens for Scan this, track it, and food corrections. Speech stays on this device.
Calendar & reminders
Map training, rest, scan, and hydrate blocks onto a BODI Elite calendar and Apple Reminders. Wellness schedule, not a medical appointment.
Apple Music
Play a journey mix during a session and read playlists to match warmup, work, and finish.
Motion
LiDAR pose capture uses motion to track the room while you stand for a body scan.
Siri
Shortcuts can log a BODI drink, start a workout, add water, or ask how you are doing.
Notifications
Local alerts for hydration, recovery, calendar blocks, and shipped orders. BODI asks when you turn those features on.
Location
Typed city or, if you allow it, this device once — only to fetch current weather for an indoor/outdoor training call. Not used for events or community.
Not requested
BODI Elite does not request Face ID, contacts, Bluetooth accessories, or tracking across other companies’ apps.
